Carmelina's Restaurant is owned and operated by Jack and Carmelina Silva, who immigrated from Portugal in 1972. They brought their passion for good food,  laughter, and a relaxing environment that incorporates the best of their European home, with the energy and excitement of their new home in the United States. Today, after having opened their first restaurant in Ludlow, MA, they have brought their love of Mediterranean cuisine to Southern Connecticut, and in 2000 opened the doors to Carmelina's Restaurant in Bridgeport, CT.
